My surefire way to get everything off of a room's floor so I can vacuum said floor for a good half an hour: move all the stuff into the living room, while mum's not looking. It's also a good way to sort stuff, the living room is much bigger then my room. I've been cleaning for the past two evenings. Currently I'm in the process of organizing stuff into three catagories: keep, store, and get rid of (which is trash or garage sale stuff).

My job is going well. I'll be in training for the next 10 or 12 weeks. On Wednesday evenings I'll be teaching PSR 1st grade.

I have a full time job. The pay is decent, the benefits great. It wasn't what I was looking for but it seems better then what I've been doing. I start on Monday. My sister works in the same building, hopefully we can carpool. I'm still going to work at the bead place on Saturdays to earn a little extra money for Christmas.

    Email etc...
The scam email asking for money shows up in my regular in box, while the email informing me that changes are coming for my email account shows up in the spam box. Sometimes life is confusing.

D and D is going well. Cat and his friend joined up with us. Another of James's friends will be joining next weekend. James and I had a brief discussion about DM power gaming.

I've got to work tomorrow. Then there's that interview on Wed. I'm not looking forward to the drive. I still dislike driving.

I have a little part time job at a bead store that just opened. I also have a job interview on Wednesday for a company called Mad Science. I have a application to fill out for St. John's Mercy hospital.

James, his roommate and myself have started a D and D campaign. I'm not sure how it's going. I've never played D and D before.

Well, I figured out where all my email is going. The spam folder, which I didn't know I had. That would explain why my inbox was empty.
    1:32 pm
Today, I took my sister's kids to day school. I came home and had a bubble bath and icecream, at the same time. I had a mound of cheese fries for lunch. Read a book. Fought a battle with my hair and I think I won. It's one of those days. Still no jobs, the one lead I had dried up. Looked some more. Adecco.com is a decent site when looking for jobs.

I need to finish laundry and the dishes, clean my room, pick the kids up from school, get the pink frosting out of the family room carpeting, and not go crazy.

I have a job interview tomorrow at 1pm. I'm not so sure about the job. The main reason being: I was looking forward to teaching the 1st grade PSR class, but if I get this job I can't. The place won't work with me to let me have Wed evening off. My initial thought was "Why work for a place that isn't willing to work with their employees on scheduleing?" Everyone who works has to be avaible 8am to 8pm durning the week (8 hour shifts, 5 days a week). And the schedule can change every two weeks. *sigh* It's the only prospect I have right now. At least they do give 2 weeks notice on schedule changes. Well I'll have to let them know off the bat that I'm getting married in April and will need time off. Of course I could be worrying for nothing, they might not hire me.

Well, I finally did it. I put in my two weeks notice at the shop. I don't have anything lined up after those two weeks, but I'm looking. I was feeling trapped and felt that if I didn't get out of there I would never find a better job. And besides if I mess up, I young enough that I can get back on my feet again.

So my week off didn't go quite as planned. Saturday, I got off work and went to Church with James and my parents. Mum leaned over before Mass started and told me that a friend of the family had passed away. It was a bit of a shock because she was the same age as dad. Her family was having a private ceremony and burial and a public memorial service on Thursday. So Mum and I went up to the cabin for the weekend as we planned. Sunday went well.

Monday didn't go well. Mum got a call from Dad to let her know that Grandpa (Dad's dad) wasn't doing well and he was leaving work to sit with him. Mum and I decided not to leave early to rush to see him. Half an hour later we got "the call". Grandpa died peacefully at home. Dad made it to his house a few minutes before and his brothers were on their way. Mum and I wouldn't have even made it out of the door before the call came.

We came home on Tuesday. Grandpa's wake was Wed. and his burial was on Thursday. It wasn't a terribly sad occasion, Grandpa was 94 and had been quite sick on and off for a while.

So now I'm working on my beading projects. I'm making a wire and gemstone chip bonsi tree for James. I'm watching Mandie's kids while she goes to a job interview this afternoon. Then I'm going to the mall with James, he's looking for a book and I need to see if the schedual is up for work next week.

We might be going to the Ren Faire this weekend, if not this weekend then the weekend of the 4th. It looks like fun. I want to go this weekend, but the weather's looking iffy. James, myself and some friends are going to see Star Wars this Sunday.

    *waves*
Hi, It's been a while. So here's the quick update. I'm getting married in April of 2006 to James. I'm still working (going crazy) at the bead place, but we've moved the store to a mall that's busier and 20 minutes away from home. I want to quit about once every other month, but then something nice, or happy happens at work and I'm better. Like this upcoming week, I don't have to go to work and I still get paid. Perks of being the full time manager. So Mum and I are going up to the farm for a couple of days and I have lots of beading planned. I'm also going to look again for a job relating more to my degree. *crosses fingers*

My church is being closed and we're being relocted to another church. Which means Sunday School is over for me. I'm going to look into St. Martin's program to see if they need a teacher. I might actully be teaching PSR classes on Wed for the older kids. I need to call.

Well that's all I can think of.

Random Notes: I got a 9 hundred someodd page bead catalog in the mail yesterday (Yay! and a happy dance). Today James went to Church with me (Yay! and a clappy happy dance.) I also signed my neice and nephew up for Sunday School and I found out that I will indeed have a class to teach in Oct. (Yay! Happy Dance.) I've played about four hours of Uno with James tonight. We let my nephew in on one hand and he beat us. I was quite amused that he figured the game out (mostly) and managed to win in one hand. He's a smart kid. When I'm tired I can't do simple addition. That's all. Oh, I've got an eye doctor appointment tomorrow, maybe a new pair of lenses will help solve the headache problem.

Time flies when your not online. I've been busy lately and haven't been able to get online.

    Let's see quick update:
I'm head manager at a mall store. It not a bad job. I'm considering not going back to school right away. Retails not bad and I need a bit more in my savings account before I go back.

My sister and kids are here. It makes the house a bit crowded and noisey at times, but I love them all, even the dog.

I'm still dating the Captain. It's all happy.

Short, I know, but at least I'm alive. Even if I am really cold right now.

Well, let's see. I'm now head manager at the store. Which means I get to close Friday and Saturday. James has a job and we both seem to be in better spirits. Which is good. Very good. We're going to Six Flags this Sunday.

Oh and I'm going to Knox for graduation. I'm looking forward to getting away and seeing different faces.

    Hi again,
I applied at Walgreens. I was offered a full time job working nights and weekends as a service clerk/cashier. I turned it down. I was really looking for the Pharmacy Tech job. I would have been making a 1.50 less then I am currently at Earth, Wind and Bead for doing pretty much the same thing.

I did get a couple of phone numbers to contact the home office for Walgreens, since they were the ones who do the actual hirering for the Pharmacy. The one opening that was avaible wasn't in the greatest of areas, so the lady gave me another name for the area manager that has a few more stores in my area. I'm still waiting for a call from her.

In the meantime, I got a call for a lab tech position at Washington University in St. Louis. Durning the summer I ran into a gentleman who the family works with for funeral arrangments, who knows someone who works at the University. He passed on my name and number. So the other day I got a phone call asking if I was still looking for a job. Since I was still looking my name and number got passed onto another doctor at the school. He called and I've got an interview meeting on Monday with him and his staff. It's a little wierd that after a year of looking for a job related to Biochemisty I'm finally getting offers. I'm also extremely nervous.

The Captain offered to drive me down to Wash U. He knows how much I hate to drive and how nervous I'm going to be on Monday. Then were going to take my neice and nephew to the zoo with Mum.

    The short of things:
Massive employee shift at work. Two people fired, three people hired. And the boss has brought the head manager over from the other store to help out while he (the boss) is on vacation. But, hey, I get a dollar raise, starting next pay period.

I'm trying not to nag Captain to much about things, but I think we really need to sit down and talk. If I only had the courage...

Princess might be moving home this weekend.

Free time...free time...were art thou...or something like that...

I need to bead more. It's relaxing.

Tuesday has been offically declared family night (no boyfriend allowed). The parents and I went to Kmart. I bought shirts. Went to Lowe's and looked at hot water heaters. Maybe someday soon I will be able to take a long hot bath instead of a short lukewarm one.

Look! Two posts in two days. I like time off.

The kids were suppose to come today really early like 6:15 early, but my brother in law never dropped them off, cause he didn't go to work today or something. My sister did call to tell me that he probally wouldn't and if they weren't here by 6:30 I should just go back to bed. I fell asleep on the couch til 8. Then I went back to bed. My neck and back are a bit stiff from the couch.

I played more .Hack Part 2 today. It's mainly leveling stuff right now, because I don't want to advance plot at this time. I've cleaned the kitchen and did a bit of laundry. I was putting up clothes when I decided to get online. I was talking to the Captain last night and we decided to get a gaming group together. I want to run In Nomine and he wants to run a D and D game. So I bought the In Nomine core book and the Game Master guide. I want to buy the song book too, but I'll wait to make sure that the group gets off and running and interested in the game. The Captain already has a charater concept in mind, just based off of what I told him about the game.

Things are going well around here. Mum's gone for a few days and Dad's gone for the next couple. (Happy House to Myself dance!) I was sick a couple weeks ago and I think I've finally gotten over it. At least I'm feeling a lot better right now. I finished .Hack Part 1 yesterday evening and have now started on Part 2.

Plans for the rest of the day include cleaning my room and the bathroom. I was going to wash my car but it's a bit to windy out and I think I'd wind up wetter then the car. I also intend to get some beading done, play .Hack, and maybe take a nap. The Captain is coming over tonight and we may go out to buy potting soil and seeds. My Sunday School class planted Marigolds last week and they aren't growing. I think the seeds and the dirt were too old (at least 5 years if not older). So I'm going to grow fresh plants here and transplant them next weekend, if no shoots appear in the kids plants. I warned the children today that we may have to replant.

So I planned on being online more. Where has all my free time gone? I've got time on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays, but I never seem to get online anymore.

*shrug* Life continues. V-day was ok. Not as happy as I was expecting, but it turned out decent. The Captain and I were both sick and tired and cranky. And we both had to work, me a full 12 hour day, him 8 hours.

I've got to clean my bathroom and my room. I've also got to make a necklace for a costomer. I told her I'd have it done by Tuesday.
